Polyplex one of the world’s largest thin BOPET film producers, has successfully developed Post-consumer Recycled PET films up to 90% PCR content, suitable for food packaging applications and launched these products in 2019.
Polyplex is rapidly implementing this technology at all its manufacturing locations (Turkey, India, Thailand, USA, Indonesia) to provide PCR PET films to its global customer base. The European distribution partner Transparent Paper Ltd. (TPL) is already offering R-PET films with 70% PCR content for immediate delivery from its warehouse in Antwerp, Belgium, making many R-PET films types easily available.
