16 July 2019 – Companies that place packaged products into the market have started collaborating to develop more sustainable flexible packaging for the circular economy. The Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) initiated a Community of Practice (CoP) with a consortium of companies facing similar challenges related to developing metallised flexible packaging that is suitable for the circular economy. The consortium members are FrieslandCampina, Intersnack, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Mars Wrigley , Pepsico and Unilever.
